Leah is fascinated by men and their clothing, and strives to understand the masculine condition to sharpen her knowledge and enhance her image services to men.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Design (costume), studies in Fashion Design, and an Image Consulting certification, Leah blends her multi-faceted education and experience into her work with men.
She has guest lectured on colour at the Ontario College of Art and Design University, was nominated as the 2011 Entrepreneur of the Year at the Toronto Board of Trade, and is privileged to volunteer as the Manager of Model Relations at TOM* – Toronto Men’s Fashion Week. Her image opinions are sought after by major Canadian media including CBC, CTV, and the Globe and Mail.
Leah has written as the men’s image expert in the Small Business section of the Toronto Star, Canada’s largest newspaper, and publishes often in the Huffington Post Canada. She conceived her men’s blog, In the Key of He, in 2010.
The demise of a relationship demands a new distinction and a new set of rules; a new way of living and a new way of seeing. On the other end of divorce, men often experience an identity crisis because their identity is tied to their past relationship and former partner.
Image consulting services encourages the revisitation of a man’s individuality and true character to bring out his best points and build his confidence, so that he can embody his comfortable, authentic self, not the self society – or his past partner – says he is or should be.
As the first woman in Canada to specialize in men, Leah Morrigan strives to understand men and their condition, and creates a safe and emotionally supportive working relationship with her clients. With a background in costume design and an ability to see a man’s genuine character and potential, Leah weaves her deep knowledge of men’s clothing, grooming, colour, and body and wardrobe analysis into her logical image services, which are enhanced by her insight, humour, and kindness.
A newly-divorced client of Leah’s offers testimony to her life-changing services: "I went through the image process and I feel comfortable and confident and much more like the man I actually am, not the man my divorce made me feel like."
