Peter Szajak is an experienced Family Law lawyer dedicated to providing individualized, client-focused legal services on all aspects of Divorce and Family Law.
Peter has taught Family Law in the Law Clerk Program at Centennial College and has appeared in a wide spectrum of proceedings at all levels of Court in Ontario.
Peter was born in Warsaw, Poland, speaks fluent Polish and offers legal services in English and in Polish. Peter was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004 and is a licensed member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. He holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts (from York University) and a Juris Doctor (from Osgoode Hall Law School). Peter conducted graduate field research in Mental Health Law and Policy at York University and co-authored an article published in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper entitled: "Do the Mentally Ill have Rights?”. Peter received notable awards from Osgoode Hall Law School in recognition of academic excellence and active commitment to the principles of social justice.
Peter has applied his strong academic skills, his passionate commitment to social justice and the desire to provide meaningful help to those in need as the foundation for his law practice. Peter's core belief is his willingness to work diligently, efficiently and effectively to assist clients with their most difficult problems and work towards achieving the best possible resolution in each case.
