My Wife is in the process of getting divorce papers finished. We have a son together, have a mortgage and several vehicles and utility vehicles and of course furniture and things.
Neither of us plan to involve lawyers in the process and are planning on making it as amicable as possible. We don’t want this to be any uglier than it has to be and our experience with lawyers has shown they arnt interested in keeping things clean, just on how they can get the best deal for their clients even if the client doesn’t care about certain things. Anyway…
If we are able to agree on how our “assets” are divided, even if it may not be 50/50. Is it typical of judges to order changes to better reflect 50/50 even if we agree on an unbalanced division?
Thank you for taking the time to read my question!
